Sue Holden

I have worked in the public sector for over 20 years. Having held a number of
positions operational, managerial and strategic at local, regional and
national level I bring a wealth of experience to my practice as a coach. Having
been involved in a number of major organisational changes over the years I
have developed my coaching practice and focus on supporting individuals in
managing self, change and cultural issues.

I believe in the power of action and consider that we all can change what we
are expereriencing in a positive way , sometimes alone but more often with
help. I work using directive and non-directive coaching techniques and believe
that for coaching to be successful it should be rooted in practical and
realistic goals. I develop with clients ways to work with their issues in a
bespoke way so that every experience is different, this keeps me up to date,
interested and passionate about seeing clients achieve results.

I have been involved with training and facilitation for the last 10 years
and consider that understanding the human dimensions of change enhances my
practice. I offer my clients the opportunity to experiment with ideas, approaches
and strategies in a supportive and challenging environment enabling them to
develop new skills and knowledge. I can administer a number of psychometric
assessments and use these with clients if it is felt to add value to their
understanding and insight.
