Ailie Kerrane
Coming from a social work background, I now work independently as a consultant, trainer and coach.
Over the last 20 years I have studied Gestalt Psychotherapy and Group Analysis as applied to Organisational Development and I have trained as a coach. I am currently undertaking a Certificate in Psychodrama.
I have found the insights gained from these perspectives to be an essential part of my professional development and add a helpful dimension to my work, both with individuals and groups.
I am particularly committed to helping support and sustain practitioners and managers within the Health and Social Care sector to achieve their full potential – or even just survive! I am aware first hand that working in today's public sector organisations presents the challenge of constant change and turmoil in which it's hard to hang on to a sense of sanity and balance in what often feels like a mad world. However, I do firmly believe it is possible to both survive, and grow and develop, and that coaching and mentoring can be an essential part of that process.
My approach to coaching is one in which I offer deep listening, reflection, feedback, support, challenge, guidance, and most importantly, a relationship in which the person is valued and believed in.
I offer individual, joint and team/group coaching.
Quote from a manager whom I have mentored:
“Ailie is very skilled in management and in directly working with staff which inspired me with confidence. I feel her skills are rooted in first hand experience, supported by research and theory…..there have been tangible outcomes.”
